Our vacation begins with a pleasant flight from Singapore to the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan.

  • Osaka Castle (photo-stop) - This castle is one of Japan's most famous landmarks.
  • Kimono Wearing Experience - Get to know the traditions of Japanese classical dress with a chance to try on an iconic kimono
  • Fushimi Inari - It is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates.
  • Arasiyama Bamboo Grove – Walking into this extensive bamboo grove is like entering another world – thick green bamboo stalks seem to continue endliessly in every direction and there’s a strange quality to the light.
  • Starbucks Tatami-Style – World's first and only Starbucks with traditional tatami flooring.
  • Sand Dunes - spans a half kilometre swathe of sand between the visitor centre and the sea. Many of the largest sand dunes are found here, offering visitors beautiful vistas overlooking the coast.
  • Monster Village - famous ghost stories comes from a local Sakaiminato woman nicknamed 'Nonnonba'. She would sit for hours telling others folklore tales of Yokai, which are traditional Japanese monsters, ghouls and goblins.
  • Conan Train (photo-stop) - Detective Conan is a massively popular manga and anime series from Japan that has also gained followers abroad. The original Japanese title "Meitantei Conan" literally means "Great Detective Conan,"
  • Daisen Lift – Take a 7-minute gondola ride to the natural observation deck, which is the best location to enjoy stunning views from the plateau.
  • Sand Museum - Japan's only open-air museum exhibiting sculptures made of "sand."
  • Hiroshima Bomb Museum – is a symbol of peace which most people have at least seen at one time in a picture.
  • Hondori Shopping Street
  • Miyajima Ferry – View Itsukushima Shrine and stroll along Miyajima Omotesando Shopping Street.
  • Iwakuni Kintaikyo Bridge - most distinguished landmark and a subject of admiration for hundreds of years. The elegant, wooden bridge makes five bold arches onto massive stone pillars as it crosses over the Nishiki River.
  • Ruriko-ji Pagoda - best known for its five-storied pagoda that is a national treasure.
  • Akiyoshi Limestone Caves – Largest and longest limestone cave.
  • Tsunoshima – Tsunoshima is an island located in the Sea of Japan, north west of Yamaguchi Prefecture.
  • Motonosumi Inari Shrine – Motonosumi Shrine was selected by CNN Travel as one of the "31 Most Beautiful Places in Japan." The shrine's remarkable location makes for a striking contrast between the red of its gates and the cobalt blue of the waves below.
  • Tanga Market – opened in the early Taisho period (around 1913-1914) and is a historical market
  • Uminonakamichi – a sprawling, family oriented public park located on a narrow peninsula across the bay from central Fukuoka. The park is made up of several different areas including flower gardens, playgrounds, an amusement park with ferris wheel, sports fields, a water park, a zoo and large open spaces and lawns perfect for picnicking.
  • Tenjin - a lively riverside area known for its namesake underground shopping mall and for high-rise entertainment centers with small rock bars and dance clubs.
